Call for comment

Every year RCNA contributes submissions to a variety of health related organisations. In order to provide the most comprehensive responses RCNA seeks input from members in their relevant areas of expertise. All members are invited to contribute to RCNA submissions - click here to read more and view previous RCNA submissions.

Calls for comment

RCNA seeks feedback on the discussion paper Development of the National Clinical Assessment Framework for Children and Young People in Out-of-Home Care (OOHC) (the Framework), as part of a consultation being undertaken by The Nous Group.

The objectives of the Framework will be to:
• improve consistency of primary and comprehensive health care assessments and services for children and young people in OOHC
• provide advice about the role of clinicians and appropriate assessment tools
• guide jurisdictions to develop appropriate policies and to assist health professionals to make clinical decisions in order to detect problems early, when they are most amenable to interventions.

RCNA members are encouraged to provide feedback on the Framework, focusing on several questions. Please forward any comments to Stefanie Dosen at stefanie.dosen@rcna.org.au by 17 March 2010 or via the form below.

Send your comments to the RCNA Policy team
Members with expertise in areas where comment is sought are invited to submit their ideas or formal responses to RCNA, where relevant, using the form below. Based on member response, RCNA will develop a submission.
