Is this the right membership for you?
Becoming a Member of RCNA demonstrates your commitment to professional excellence in nursing. RCNA Members come from all walks of life, all types of specialties, and bring a wide variety of knowledge and experience to their membership.

To become a Member of RCNA, you must be qualified to practice as a registered (division 1) or enrolled (division 2) nurse.

Your membership package

RCNA Members receive a wide range of professional and financial benefits. To find out the details of your membership package, click here.

Your responsibilities and fields of action and influence
Your involvement in RCNA’s activities and networks can influence nursing policy at a national level. We encourage you to make the most of your membership and to become an active Member of RCNA.

As an RCNA Member, you can:

  • stand for elections to a member position on the RCNA Board
  • vote at RCNA Board elections, and on matters referred to the membership

Fees
RCNA Members pay an annual fee as follows

Registered nurse $399. Lump sum or 12 monthly instalments of $33.25.
Enrolled nurse $387. Limp sum or 12 monthly instalments of $32.25.

Payments can be made by credit, debit or cheque. Please note: if paying by cheque, payment must be made in full.

Fees are determined by RCNA’s Board. They are valid until 31st December 2010 and include GST. Your membership may be tax deductible - please check with your tax advisor.
