Is this the right membership for you?
You can apply for a fellowship if you are a registered nurse (RN Division 1 in Victoria) who has made a significant contribution to RCNA and to professional excellence in nursing and/or in the health of the community, and who have demonstrated commitment to RCNA.

Fellows of RCNA must have paid regularly full membership fees.

Your responsibilities and fields of action and influence
Your involvement in RCNA’s activities and networks can influence nursing policy at a national level. We encourage you to make the most of your fellowship and be an active Fellow. For instance, you can:

• stand for office in your local Chapter
• promote the Mission and Objectives of RCNA
• disseminate information related to professional nursing issues
• conduct educational activities
• collect responses to issues for national dissemination
• be involved in the Chapter submissions for Connections
• be involved with membership recruitment

• stand for elections to the Board of Royal College of Nursing, Australia (RCNA)
• vote at RCNA Board elections, and on matters referred to the membership
• represent RCNA on National and State committees and forums

As a Fellow, you are entitled to membership rates to attend RCNA’s events.

Fees
RCNA Fellows pay an annual fee of $444, including GST and administration fees. You can pay a lump sum of $444 or 12 monthly instalments of $38.15 (total: $458).

Payment can be made by credit card, direct debit or cheque. Please note: payments by cheque must be made in full.

Fees are determined by RCNA’s Board. They are valid until 31 December 2009 and include GST and administration fee. Your membership may be tax deductible - please check with your tax advisor.
