Accreditation
Royal College of Nursing, Australia (RCNA) is the only nursing body in Australia that offers a nationally consistent course accreditation service. It is a process by which a course is assessed by an expert panel against pre-determined standards set by RCNA. To accredit a course is to certify that it meets professional standards and requirements.

Endorsement
Royal College of Nursing, Australia (RCNA), as Australia’s peak professional nursing organisation, provides an endorsement service to education providers. RCNA Endorsement is a review and approval process of professional development tools, activities and events for nurses.

Credentialling
Credentialling is a process that recognises an individual nurse’s expertise. The credentialling process of nurse Pap test providers ensures high quality, nurse-provided cervical screening services and allows nurses to demonstrate accountability and responsibility for their practice.

APEC
APEC is an RCNA model of endorsement for educational events and activities where the provider is given status or authorised, on behalf of RCNA, to endorse their own activities for a period of two years.
