Credentialling services

Credentialling is a process that recognises an individual nurse’s expertise. The credentialling process of nurse Pap test providers ensures high quality, nurse-provided cervical screening services and allows nurses to demonstrate accountability and responsibility for their practice.

The Victorian Nurse Pap Test Provider Credentialling Program is funded by Cancer Screening Services, Department of Human Services, Victoria and provided through the Credentialling Secretariat, now located at Papscreen Victoria.

The Credentialling Secretariat has changed locations
The Credentialling Secretariat has transferred from the Royal College of Nursing, Australia (RCNA) to PapScreen Victoria (PSV). PSV is committed to maintaining the credentialling process and upholding the quality processes that RCNA have implemented in the secretariat role.
