Emergency nurse practitioners - Calvary Health Care ACT
Calvary Health Care ACT is a modern metropolitan hospital based in the northern suburbs of Canberra. Our public emergency department sees approximately 50,000 patient presentations per year. To meet growing patient presentations, we are developing an innovative model of care to improve emergency care access that could include you.
We are looking for two skilled and enthusiastic nurse practitioners to join our existing team of emergency nurses, clinical initiative nurses and nurse practitioners.
As a nurse practitioner in our team you will:
- autonomously manage the clinical care for a variety of health complexities
- participate in clinical research and quality and safety
- provide educational activities for staff
- develop, implement, review and revise Emergency Nurse Practitioner clinical practice guidelines.
Eligibility/other requirements:
- Registered or eligible to register as a nurse practitioner in the ACT.

Dermatology nurses – patient support program
Experienced dermatology nurses from all states are sought to provide support to psoriasis patients as part of a patient support program to be launched in March 2010. This role is on a part-time basis for a 12-month contract (with the option to renew after 12 months).
Applicants should have their own transportation and be prepared to work outside of normal working hours if required.

- reporting to the General Manager, Western Region, you will be an RN with no less than 5 years post-basic or postgraduate experience
